Printable Spring Botanical Art for Gallery Walls

Free printable spring botanical art — frame-ready prints for $3 each via color engineering prints, or print at home for free.

Quietly—so I don’t jinx it— SPRING IS ALMOST HERE! Yes, I’m a little excited.

We hit the 70s over the weekend and it felt glorious. January and February always seem to drag, so when the first blooms appear I jump into spring-decor mode. That’s the inspiration behind this spring botanical gallery wall printable set—the final seasonal release for the year.

This month I’m joining Krista from The Happy Housie and a group of bloggers for the Seasonal Simplicity Spring Series, sharing simple spring DIY and decor ideas. If the warmer weather has you itching to refresh your home, this printable set is an easy, affordable way to add botanical charm to any room.

Printables are my go-to because they’re instant and low-cost: download, frame, and you’re done. The spring set is available for download when you subscribe, and if you already subscribe the direct download link is in your inbox and included at the bottom of each email.

I store the other seasonal sets behind the current prints in the frames, so I can rotate spring, summer, autumn, and winter without buying new art each season. That quick swap keeps the look fresh all year long.

For large-scale prints I use Staples’ color engineering prints and order the 18″x24″ size, which yields a 16″x20″ image area. They run about $3 each at many locations. If you prefer to print at home, the files also work perfectly as 8″x10″ prints for standard frames.

Print directions for 16″x20″ engineer prints:

  • Download the botanical images from the printable library (password provided by email).
  • Visit the print services page on the print provider’s website and select engineering/color prints.
  • Choose the 18″x24″ paper size and upload your botanical image files.
  • Select portrait orientation and add to cart.
  • At checkout, add a note requesting “do not scale to fit” so the image remains at the intended 16″x20″ area.

Some stores may vary in the services they offer, so if one location won’t produce engineering prints, try another local branch or a different print shop. Walgreens and other copy centers can also make 16″x20″ posters, though prices differ by store.

I framed these prints in simple 16″x20″ frames I picked up on sale. They look like wood but are lightweight plastic—an economical choice that works well for a cohesive gallery wall. I placed the gallery above a small bench by the back door, where seasonal accents—pillows, baskets, and a throw—bring the entry area to life.

Small touches like pastel pillows and woven baskets make the space feel seasonal without a lot of expense. The baskets double as shoe storage for days spent outdoors, and a simple bench adds function and style near the door.

Decor sources (examples):

  • Wall frames in 16″x20″ sizes
  • Entry bench or small accent bench
  • Pastel throw pillows and textured accents
  • Woven storage baskets and a neutral throw blanket

With the spring prints in place, I’m hoping the warm weather sticks around. If you’d like more inspiration, check out the other posts in the Seasonal Simplicity Spring Series for easy DIY and decorating ideas.
